The strapping young lad you see pictured right is your truly. The man pictured left is my grandfather Bill Scarborough. My grandfather was born on October 15th, 1946, he was part of the baby boomers. He has lived in Delta, Pennsylvania his entire life and has been married to my nana for 50 years now. My grandfather says that he has already accomplished his American Dream, which was to have a good job, own a home and build a family. He went to work right out of high school and then ended up joining the army a year later. Once he was out of the army he got a great job working at Aberdeen Proving Grounds testing military vehicles and weapons. He retired very comfortably after 40+ years of working there. My grandfather said that he believes it takes a lot of hard work to accomplish what you want and he said that nobody is going to do it for you. I feel that he illustrative of the American Dream because he worked most of his life to be able to do the things he wanted to do and afford whatever he wanted.
