Lila Barchey is senior at York College of Pennsylvania. Lila is on her way to earning a bachelors degree in marketing with a minor in advertising. Lila said that her American is to have a career with a steady income, benefits, retirement plan and have vacation time. She says that she does not want to worry about money. Lila said that she would also like to own a home, reliable and she would like to get married. The challenges she faces with obtaining her dream is the challenge to do well in college while working part time. I feel as though Lila is similar to many young adults trying to accomplish their own American Dream, and the starting point for a lot of them is with higher education.
